
High school hackathon in Oakland

A creative and competitive space for Black or Latinx coders in Oakland. On Saturday, April 22nd, from 9:00 – 5:00 pm, Mission Bit’s Student Advisory Board will host a Hackathon at Generation Thrive. During the event, students will work in groups of 3 to create projects with any language of their choice. Projects will answer prompts inspired by each of our core values. Students with beginner-level coding knowledge can participate! Students can expect breakfast, lunch, snacks, and a competition complete with guest judges and prizes!
